Ocean of Possibilities

I sat in the sunshine and cried.
The realization that what I
Had before was just a drop of
The life I deserved and
I accepted it as whole
For so long…
A shame.

I also knew that regret doesn’t bring back time and
Only takes away the present.
So, I decided to savor the sunshine, save the tears
And wade in the possibilities
Of my now.
